Position Summary:

  • Responsibilities will include providing administrative support to the Office of the Registrar processing applicant information required for the admission, transfer, evaluation of applicants and maintaining student records and information. This position will serve as coordinator to the Office of the Registrar with all admissions services. General duties will also include answering phones, processing correspondence, filing and miscellaneous office tasks as needed on a daily basis and performing specific project tasks and responsibilities as needed. This position will provide essential coverage for the non-typical work hours of Friday thru Monday 7am-6pm

Technical Task Statements:

  • Manage applicant and student information for FERPA compliance
  • Analyze application and documentation for admission in accordance with University requirements
  • Evaluate inbound official transcripts for transferable credit per the University's transfer credit policies
  • Assess additional information and records received for conditionally admitted students
  • Input admissions and transfer credit into the Student Information System (CampusVue)
  • Support registration process in coordination with Academic Service Counselors, maintain student schedules and system records
  • Provide guidance and support to all departments with regard to University policies and procedures
  • Process Incoming and outgoing communications (mail, fax, emails, and phone)
  • Compile statistical information for internal and external reporting
  • Maintain, update and publish student admissions, records and enrollment forms

Formal Education Required and/or Equivalent Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree; and/or equivalent business experience
  • Experience in higher education or student services markets preferred
